Definitely NOT a 5 star Hotel!!!
The pool and location
Booked 3 rooms on the first floor & all had similar issues. TV in rooms, but they were unable to facilitate British guests therefore having the TV in your room was pointless unless you could speak Italian. All 3 rooms had no evacuation plans on inside of bedroom doors, they had been removed. Unable to adjust air con, you had to phone down to reception to ask that they do it remotely. Bathrooms were tired in all 3 rooms, damaged vanity units, dirty toilet brushes, extraction fans hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The shower knob literally came off in my hand when attenpting to adjust temperature. There was a used shower cap left by previous guests squashed behind the double sink in the bathroom. Clear proof these rooms are not cleaned thoroughly after each guest. Workmanship extremely poor in room like electrical sockets with gaps in wall, paintwork all over skirtings. Damaged dressing table chairs. Windows/patio doors were dirty. These rooms are evidently not checked before allowing guests access after being "supposedly" cleaned. This hotel may have accomplished a 5 star rating when opening or in the past, but they have failed to maintain the standards required to call themselves that today!. This hotel would rate no more than a 3 star in comparison to other hotels we've stayed in. Sad to report bitterly disappointed .

Lovely hotel- pool is fabulous!
The pool!!! Loved the fact we had access to a pool during our city break.
Nothing- we didn’t mind the 20 minute walk into the main area of Pisa as we were a couple. Maybe something to consider with a family.
